How to prepare and apply Henné Coffee?

1. HAIR PREPARATION

• Use a purifying scalp scrub to remove cosmetic and styling product residues and enhance the results of 100% herbal coloring.
• If your hair is not particularly dirty, the scrub alone is enough. Otherwise, follow with a mild organic shampoo.

2. PREPARING THE MIX

Recommended doses:

• 50 g of powder → medium hair (200 ml of water)
• 100 g of powder → long hair (400 ml of water)

Pour the powder into a bowl and gradually add hot water (70°C) until you get a smooth, yogurt-like cream.

For added hydration, you can add 2 tablespoons of:

• Goond Katira
• gel from fenugreek seeds, flax seeds, or psyllium seeds

3. APPLYING THE MIX

• Apply the cream generously using your hands or a brush.
• Cover hair with a shower cap to retain heat and prevent drying.
• Leave on for 60–80 minutes. For thick and resistant hair, extend the leave-in time or use thermal cap.
• If you don’t have a thermal cap, wear a wool hat and extend the leave-in time.

4. RINSING AND POST-COLOR CARE

• Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
• Avoid using shampoo for the first 48 hours to allow color to settle.
• For your first wash, use a Sidr treatment to help set the color.

Double application: when is it recommended?
For very light, white, or chemically treated hair, a double step is recommended for a more intense and even color result:

• Warm tone: first apply Radish Red, then Coffee.
• Cool tone: first apply Vibrant, then Coffee.

Warnings:

• Always perform a strand test before full application to preview final result.
• PATCH TEST: mix a small amount with hot water and apply behind the ear or in the crook of the elbow. Cover with sterile gauze and leave on for 12 hours. If irritation or itching occurs, do not use the product.
